 Slysoft released a new version of its AnyDVD software, which is claimed to bypass the 7th generation HD DVD and Blu-Ray copy protection (MKB v7), found in the latest Blu-ray movie releases.
The latest build is capable to process the Blu-Ray movies which include the 7th generation media key block (MKB), according to Slysoft. The MKB v7 was recently released by the Advanced Access Content System Licensing Administrator (AACS LA) and it is an updated version of the special code placed on the Blu-ray media that is essential for the authentication and thus the reproduction of Blu-ray movies on updated Blu-Ray players. |

This year's Media-Tech Expo, the equipment trade show for the optical media industry, will be held May 6-8 in Hall 5.0 of the Messe Frankfurt in Germany, and will be the industry's only live equipment show in 2008 to focus on Blu-ray Disc.
 Demand for systems and titles is expected to start ramping up this year, with projections of 120 equipment lines required in the next two years to keep up with demand, and at least 80% of major movie studio releases to be on BD 50 (dual layer) disc. |

 Called "BD Touch," NetBlender's new technology enhances the capabilities of BD Live by enabling two-way communication between a Blu-ray player and Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch.
NetBlender today announced a new Blu-ray Disc technology that allows iPhones and iPod Touch devices to interact with content on a Blu-ray disc.
