Dual Format, Dual Layer!

I have read a lot about DVD copying and formats. What is the difference between DVD-R, DVD+R and Dual layer?

As far as you should be concerned there is no difference between DVD-R and DVD+R. They are simply competing but like formats. Find one that suits your needs and stick with it. DVD-R is most popular in the UK, while DVD+R is most popular in mainland Europe. Dual Layer DVDs offer 2X the storage capacity of standard DVDs, so that’s up to 9Gb.
