On Time and On Budget

How fast can you print a CD?

Most DVD and CD inkjet printers use standard paper print technology. Therefore they print at the speed the equivalent paper would be printed. A Print Factoy 2 prints a CD in 30 seconds for text and logos and 2.5 mins for full-face full colour. Comparatively a monochrome thermal printer might print a full-face disc in 10 seconds and a full colour thermal retransfer printer might take 4 minutes. With inkjet we advise our customers that “Less is More” - less ink equals faster prints and higher profits.
